Statewide System Breakdown-Agencies throughoutAlabama are using OffenderWatch® as a statewide database to manage and track sex offenders across the state.
Searching Offenders- You can choose to search your county or anywhere else in the state by selecting the “Offender Search” icon at the top left of the screen. Additionally, you should always search for an offender in a linked agency before adding the offender into your account. You will enter the offender’s last name, SID #, DOB, or any available search criteria, and then check the “select all” in about the middle of the page (next to the list of other agencies), then click “Search”. You will want to make sure he is not already entered into the system by another agency. If he does not exist, then you will select “Add an Offender”. You will be notified by pop-up message if you try to add a pre-existing offender. See the diagram below.
